This gentleman was a lifelong resident of Augusta KS and well-known as well! He was in the Navy and traveled from port to port! I’m sure many of his artifacts in here were from liberty calls! His inventive spirit is well evident in the collection and the handiwork you will get to bid on! His knife collection is extensive and was displayed proudly, his upstairs workshop is quite extensive as well as the garage! Everything is so neat and orderly, you can be assured it was in great condition! This is a pet friendly, non-smoking home. Please take your time and scroll through all the lots. Everything Sells to the Highest Bidder with NO Reserve and NO Sales Tax. Everything sells AS IS. Items have not been tested unless otherwise specified. Come to the loadout prepared with what you might need, bring your own boxes and packing material, tools, dolly, truck, etc. If you think you need it, please bring it. Little to no loadout help will be available, so bring helpers. Not just one, but two. If you buy a lot, we will show you to your items and then you will have to remove them. Only some items were bagged and tagged unlike many auctions that I do. This is a 3 level home, so your helpers will have to be able to transgress stairs and lift items. Do not bring your crippled husband or your weak wife! We will be too busy directing traffic to be able to help you, but if we do find a moment to help, tips are accepted and appreciated.

The Pettegrew family has run a rental property business for years! Now is the time to close and liquidate all business assets. We have some personal treasures, tools, machinery, repair supplies and almost every tool for “Doing it yourself!” They found that, many times, it was quicker and best to just do the job themselves. Whether it was from cutting keys on the key machine to siding a home with their metal brake, trenching and sewer repair or stump grinding, tree trimming to chipping it up, or drywall repair to concrete flat work! You will see what I mean as you scroll through the lots we put together. This is a large auction, so don’t lose track of your bids... If you bid on it once, the computer tags it for you for bidding later on! I hear from several that they miss an item in a large auction. Please take your time and scroll through all the lots. PLEASE NOTE:
All gun buyers must pick up in person. Buyer’s must be current residents of the state of Kansas, have a valid Kansas Issued ID, be 21 years of age or older, and maintain all of their 2nd Amendment Rights. We will not ship guns and ammo. Furniture comes out of the basement in the home - bring trailers. Bring help to load items, not your wife or the crippled old man. If that is the case, bring cash for tips. Bring 2-wheeler, straps, and packing blankets. For heavy equipment outside, we will be using the tractor on-site to load your implements. If you have implements, we suggest you come the first day before the tractor disappears! If you win the tractor, we will release it to you the final day, after 3pm.
